Switch: Nintendo unveils many sales figures, it's simply staggering

For several generations, Nintendo has stood apart and apart from the questionable episode of the Wii U, it fits it like a glove. Proof of this is a Switch with resounding success and, above all, unstoppable as demonstrated by the Japanese company: its annual report has just been made public and many figures have just been unveiled, including those of sales of the machine. So, the nomadic console is approaching the milestone of 85 million machines sold with, very precisely, 84.59 million animals sold … including 28.83 million in the last fiscal year 2020-2021.

A flashy score which, coupled with other impressive statistics that we will detail shortly after, enables Big N to make 3.6 billion euros in profits. 3.6 billion is not nothing and it is even a new record for Nintendo, the previous one being held by the fiscal year 2008-2009 with “only” a little more than a billion euros of profit . Compared to the previous fiscal year, the company can therefore boast of having made an increase of 86%. Only that.

As for the games, as much to say that these have to particularly participate in the figures quoted above. The Japanese organization has therefore updated the sales of its various softwares, in this case composed only of exclusives. We are therefore talking about a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with more than 35 million takers (that’s almost as much as Red Dead Redemption 2 and its 36 million), a Pokémon Sword & Shield to 21.10 million or even a Ring Fit Adventure to over … 10 million. Yes, it causes.
