Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd launch at No. 2 on Billboard‘s multimetric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Nov. 6) with “Moth to a Flame.” The collab begins with 12.9 million U.S. streams, 1.7 million radio audience impressions and 3,800 downloads in the week ending Oct. 28, according to MRC Data.

The debut is the highest on the chart this year and the best since Kygo and Whitney Houston’s “Higher Love” (No. 2, July 2019).

“Moth” is Swedish House Mafia’s third top 10 on the tally, after its classic “Don’t You Worry Child” (No. 2, January 2013) and recent release “Lifetime,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake (No. 9, August). “Moth” is the trio’s third song release amid its revival this year, which includes “It Gets Better” (No. 13, July).

“Moth” marks The Weeknd’s second Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10, following “Lost in the Fire,” with Gesaffelstein (No. 3, January 2019).

Concurrently, “Moth” debuts atop Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs, where it’s the first leader for both acts, and on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (No. 2), the Billboard Global 200 (No. 10), Global Excl. U.S. (No. 12), Billboard Hot 100 (No. 27) and Dance/Mix Show Airplay (No. 39).

Another star team-up begins in the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10: DJ Snake, Ozuna, Lisa and Megan Thee Stallion’s “SG,” at No. 4. Snake’s 10th top 10, Ozuna’s second and the first each for Lisa (of BLACKPINK) and Megan Thee Stallion, the track starts with 3.8 million U.S. streams and 3,500 sold. It debuts on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (No. 3) and Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 5).

RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Surrender, which debuted on the Oct. 30-dated Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart after just one day of tracking, following its Oct. 21 release, soars 25-2 on the survey. The set earned 6,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 28, scoring the act its second top 10 and highest rank, after Solace (No. 2, November 2018).

The Australian act concurrently places 10 tracks, all from the new set, on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, led by “Alive,” which storms to a new high (40-18), driven by 994,000 streams.

Additionally, on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, Acraze cruises into the top 10 with “Do It to It,” featuring Cherish (12-10). It’s the first top 10 for both acts.
