Double the joy! Little Mix‘s Leigh-Anne Pinnock revealed on Monday (Aug. 23) that she has given birth … to twins! The singer announced in May that she was expecting her first child with fiance Andre Gray, but did not share that couple were expecting two babies.
“We asked for a miracle, we were given two,” the artist captioned a black-and-white Instagram photo of the twins’ itty bitty feet. “Our Cubbies are here.”
In the caption, she also shared that the little ones were born Aug. 16. Pinnock did not reveal the sex or the names of her newborns.
“Two bundles of absolute joy!” bandmate Perrie Edwards commented on the post.
Just one day earlier, on Aug. 22, Edwards revealed that she, too, had given birth to her first child. “Welcome to the world baby,” Edwards captioned her Instagram post, which featured two black-and-white photos: one of the side of the newborn’s head, and the baby’s tiny feet in the other. The infant was born Saturday (Aug. 21).
“I am so proud of you and I love you so much,” Pinnock commented on Edwards’ post. “What an angel.”
Pinnock announced her engagement to soccer star Gray in May 2020. Edwards welcomed her child with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is also a professional soccer player.
