Sufjan Stevens’ Songs for Christmas—the 2006 field set amassing 42 vacation songs, each conventional (“Silent Night,” “Jingle Bells,” “The Little Drummer Boy”) and unique (“Get Behind Me, Santa!,” “Come On! Let’s Boogey to the Elf Dance!”)—is getting its first vinyl launch. The five-EP set is due out November 9 by way of Asthmatic Kitty. It marks the second of Sufjan’s 2006 releases to get the vinyl therapy this 12 months, following his reissue of The Avalanche final month.
