Stranger Than Heaven to Feature Manageable Business System Similar to Yakuza

Stranger Than Heaven lets players organize concerts, scout musicians, write original songs, and manage live performances alongside the main story and world exploration.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio showcased a new system tied to musical performances. Makoto can find talented musicians and vocalists, compose songs, choose setlists and band lineups, and handle concert design.

An especially interesting feature is the ability to record sounds from the surrounding world and use them when creating music. Players can incorporate the noise of trains, animals, cleaning, and even combat sounds into their tracks, and then perform the finished works for audiences.

This serves as another example of how the creators of Yakuza and Judgement are filling Stranger Than Heaven with side activities. The story spans 50 years across five eras, taking Makoto to Kure, Osaka, Atami, and Tokyo.

Stranger Than Heaven will release on January 15, 2027, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and will launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
