Spotify Wrapped: Here’s How to See Your Top Music For 2021

Spotify is teasing listeners with its 2021 Spotify Wrapped insights, which allows consumers to take a look back on their favorite tracks, songs and artists and gives users a chance to see their listening activity over the past year.

The streaming app has yet to confirm an official release date for their ever popular Wrapped feature, but gave an update to fans awaiting their annual listening statistics via Twitter on Tuesday (Nov. 9), writing “We see all your tweets about Wrapped,” along with a side eye and clock emoji to indicate that the arrival of Wrapped is imminent.

Spotify tracks users listening habits between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31 and releases the information to consumers. For 2020’s Wrapped, the app shared the unique lists with its users on Dec. 2, while in 2019, it arrived on Dec. 5.

Fans looking to share their Wrapped insights to social media will be able to locate the data upon opening the app on a computer or mobile device and can also be found in the “Uniquely Yours” tab (under ‘Made for You’) where listeners can compare and view their previous Wrapped playlists from the years before. The Uniquely Yours tab additionally features playlists with songs the users has on repeat, and allows listeners to travel back in time with the “Your Time Capsule” feature, which shows the user’s favorite tracks from years past.

Per streaming service’s overall 2020 Wrapped dataBad Bunny was Spotify’s most-streamed artist and YHLQMDLG was the app’s most-streamed album; “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd was the most-streamed song of 2020, and Billie Eilish was the most-streamed female artist.

The Wrapped experience will be available to both free and premium Spotify users on the iOS and Android app.
