Spider-Man: Brand New Day to be re-released with additional scenes
Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are set to bring the comic book blockbuster “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” back to the global big screen. Audiences will be treated to an extended cut featuring additional scenes that were absent from the original theatrical release.
Specific details regarding the new footage remain under wraps, and a precise release date has yet to be announced. Since its debut in late July, “Brand New Day” has raked in approximately $2.5 billion, securing its place as the third highest-grossing film in cinematic history, trailing only “Avatar” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Furthermore, the film has claimed the title of the highest-grossing project ever in the U.S., surpassing the long-standing record held by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo. It is scheduled to arrive on digital platforms on October 6.
