At the conclusion of State of Play 2025, Sony introduced the Pulse Elevate speakers, purpose-built for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation Portal. Sony says the system delivers high-fidelity audio, especially noticeable in its exclusives.
The speakers are slated for release in 2026 in two finishes — black and white — and support wireless connectivity, including PCs and Macs. The Pulse Elevate lineup advances technology from the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore headsets: they employ planar magnetic drivers and the PlayStation Link protocol. With an internal battery and Bluetooth, the speakers are portable for travel.
Each driver produces studio-grade, full-range audio and is compatible with Tempest 3D AudioTech on PS5. Built-in woofers deliver deep, resonant bass, and the microphone embedded in the right speaker uses AI processing to suppress ambient noise and ensure clear voice comms.
PlayStation Link provides a lossless connection with minimal latency. You can use Link and Bluetooth simultaneously to blend game audio with music or chat. The package includes a USB-C adapter and a charging dock for a smooth transition to desktop mode.
