Sony intends to begin phasing out support for certain legacy PlayStation 4 services in spring 2026.
Documentation provided to Insider Gaming indicates that, starting in spring 2026, newly submitted PlayStation 4 titles will not be able to integrate with several outdated PSN features. Specifically, the following services will be disabled:
- Activity Feed Web API
- Title Small Storage (TSS)
- Title User Storage (TUS)
- Users and Profiles
- Word Filters
- Shared Media Web API
