Sony Changes PlayStation Game Plans Amid Questions Over God of War and Intergalactic

Sony has adjusted its game release schedule for the current fiscal year. The company announced the change during a recent earnings report, sparking discussions among players.

Sony representatives announced adjustments to the release schedules of projects from internal studios during the financial report. This may involve postponements, internal delays, or the cancellation of certain games. The company did not specify which exact projects are affected.

At the same time, major releases still remain on the official roadmap, including Marvel’s Wolverine, which is expected to launch in mid-September, and God of War: Laufey, scheduled for early 2027.

The changes likely affected unannounced projects, minor expansions, or games without precise release dates. Such projects may include Intergalactic and Fairgame$.

During the meeting with investors, Sony also discussed other topics, including rising prices for computer hardware and memory on the global market.
