The game launches on PlayStation 5 in the coming days, and it’s becoming clear that Sucker Punch Productions has delivered a title that could stand as a milestone for the studio — a point reinforced by numerous media evaluations.
A trailer emphasizing Ghost of Yotei’s positive reception was posted on PlayStation India’s channel. The upload appears premature, since the trailer has yet to appear on other PlayStation channels.
It’s not surprising that PlayStation India moved quickly: the game currently holds an 87 out of 100 on Metacritic, placing it — alongside Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut — among the aggregator’s top-rated releases of 2025.
