When John left RPS, I wrote in his goodbye post that it was his evaluations that I’d miss most. It’s factor for me personally, then, that John has simply launched a brand new web site. Buried Treasure is a weblog on which John evaluations “undiscovered indie gaming gems”, and there’s a Patreon where you can help it carry on.
The welcome publish sums up what it’s about. Basically: discovering games that aren’t getting the eye they deserve, after which writing about them. This is clearly a part of our mission at RPS, too, so liking one would possibly imply you want the opposite. If you’re hungry for brand new games which do new issues outdoors the mainstream, then there are already a bunch of articles ready for you on the Buried Treasure website.
There aren’t any advertisements on the location, which suggests it’s Patreon assist that can decide whether or not the challenge continues. There are reward tiers outlined on the Patreon page, together with a month-to-month publication and an additional article every week.
Bit of a day for launching new websites, it appears.
