On Wednesday, September 3, press members were invited to an exclusive preview of SoFi Stadium’s culinary lineup ahead of this Sunday’s home opener between the Los Angeles Rams and Houston Texans.
This Los Angeles landmark—also home to the Chargers and scheduled to host major concerts this fall, including Chris Brown’s headlining shows on September 13 and 14—offered a tasting of dozens of dishes across its suites, club lounges, and concession stands, ranging from tomahawk steaks to the stadium’s signature all–Angus beef hot dog, which regional executive chef Robert Biebrich of Legends identifies as their top seller.
“We move roughly 8,000 hot dogs per game,” Biebrich said, noting that hamburgers and pizza rank second and third. Local specialties are showcased at concession areas named for iconic L.A. neighborhoods: Olvera Street’s beef empanadas and al pastor tortas, Sawtelle’s Asian-inspired fried chicken, San Vicente’s square pepperoni pizzas, and Fairfax’s classic cheeseburgers and chicken strips.
“We source almost all our ingredients within Southern California and work with vendors committed to fresh, local produce. Our region’s abundance allows us to curate a diverse, high-quality menu,” Biebrich added.
Within the stadium’s private suites and club levels, offerings include Louisiana hot link sandwiches, bacon-wrapped street dogs, hand-rolled sushi, and breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches. Street-food favorites such as BBQ-charred sweet corn with Cajun butter, hot sauce, and cotija cheese, as well as loaded mac and cheese topped with burnt pork ends and pickled onions, were also featured. A standout item, the Texas Twinkie Burger, replaces the Hostess cake with slow-cooked brisket and cream cheese–filled jalapeño wrapped in bacon and finished with smoky barbecue sauce.
The beverage lineup highlights inventive cocktails like the Ultra Michelada—Michelob Ultra infused with San Marzano tomatoes, ancho chiles, tamarindo, Tajín, and a chamoy stick—and the Hail Mary Mule, blending Ketel One vodka, Chinola liqueur, key lime agave, Fever-Tree ginger beer, and garnished with dehydrated citrus.
“Our aim is to balance daring, adventurous options with comforting, familiar flavors,” Biebrich said. “We want fans to leave SoFi Stadium with memorable tastes and an exceptional experience.”
Recent headliners at SoFi include Shakira on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in August, BLACKPINK during their DEADLINE tour in July, and Beyoncé’s five-night Cowboy Carter residency in April and May.
Following Chris Brown’s two-night engagement this month, the next non–football event scheduled at SoFi is a one-night comedy showcase featuring Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias and Jo Koy in March 2026.
