Snoop Dogg’s Radio Airplay Chart No. 1s, From R&B/Hip-Hop to Pop, Dance and, Now, Gospel

Who says you can’t teach a Snoop Dogg new tricks?

Just over 29 years into his Billboard chart career, Snoop Dogg scores his first No. 1 on the Gospel Airplay survey, as featured on The Clark Sisters’ “His Love,” which ascends to the top of the May 15-dated tally.

The song marks Snoop Dogg’s latest leader on a gospel ranking: His first faith-based set, Snoop Dogg Presents: Bible of Love, spent seven weeks at No. 1 on Top Gospel Albums in 2018.

Snoop Dogg made his Billboard chart debut in May 1992, via “Deep Cover,” billed as by Dr. Dre Introducing Snoop Doggy Dogg. (The track hit No. 4 on Hot Rap Songs in June 1992.) Since then, he’s topped an array of radio airplay rankings, starting in rhythmic and hip-hop and expanding to pop, dance and, now, gospel.

Honorable mention to Snoop Dogg’s Latin radio chart success: He hit No. 2 on Latin Airplay in 2015 as featured on Prince Royce’s “Stuck on a Feeling,” and also reached the runner-up spot on Regional Mexican Airplay last July with “Qué Maldición,” with Banda MS de Sergio Lizarraga.
