Sifu: a new video shows us how the fights were choreographed

Among the early 2022 games to watch out for is a certain Sifu which is still in development at Sloclap, the creators of Absolver. In the last video that was posted online, we discover a little more behind the scenes of the game, and in particular how the fights were choreographed. We also learn that the developers called on Benjamin Colussi, a French expert in Pak-Mei, a martial art that stems from Kung-Fu, and which served as the basis for all the motions captured in the game. Believe the guys at Sloclap, it’s over 200 different moves that have been captured to make the gameplay feel authentic and realistic. Remember that Sifu will allow us to embody a martial art specialist who will evolve according to the game over. With each respawn, he will age a little more and obtain some new skills, but lose other skills alongside. Each slice of the character’s life will thus allow the discovery of new gameplay possibilities. Sifu is really a highly anticipated game in its approach and we hope the result will live up to our expectations. See you on February 22, 2022 for the final result on PC, PS5 and PS4.
