Yondr, the company that makes lockable pouches that prevent audience members from using cell phones at concerts, has announced its first public phone-free music festival. Sheer Mag, !!!, and Topaz Jones will perform, along with Kississippi, Bones of JR Jones, and Kaleta & the Super Yamba Band. The Over Yondr festival happens in Greene County, New York from June 24-26 with only 400 passes available for the three-day camping event. See more information here.

Though attendees will be required to lock their phones in Yondr’s pouches, the company promises that phone-usage spaces will be available in the rural area. Since Yondr’s launch in 2014, artists have adopted them at venues in order to prevent recording, photography, and bootlegging. Jack White has been a notably enthusiastic advocate of the practice.
