See Which Musicians Are Celebrating the Atlanta Braves’ World Series Win

It’s official: The Atlanta Braves won the World Series after defeating the Houston Astros in Game 6 on Tuesday (Nov. 2) at Minute Maid Park. The victory marks the Braves’ first World Series win since 1995.

It was no fluke — the Braves defeated the Astros last night 7-0 after gaining an early lead, with Jorge Soler scoring an impressive three-run blast in the game’s third inning, followed by a pair of runs in the fifth after Dansby Swanson completed a home run.

Braves fans who were unable to attend the game — which took place at the Astros’ home stadium — flocked to Truist Park for a watch party of the event, which later resulted in a stadium-wide celebration in honor of the Braves clinching the World Series championship title after a drought.

Music-making fans of the Atlanta Braves also relished in the team’s victory. Following the win, Jermaine Dupri took to Twitter with an all-caps messages to share how ecstatic he was feeling about his home team securing the championship title. “THE ATLANTA @Braves ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS! #BattleATL  #ForTheA,” the record producer wrote. Jason Isbell, who also watched the game, voiced his opinions of the game on Twitter. “Great ball players and great coaches on this Atlanta team and damn they were fun to watch,” he wrote.
