Saweetie, Japanese Breakfast & More Top 88Rising’s 2021 Head in the Clouds Festival Lineup

Head in the Clouds festival is returning with a stacked lineup. The Southern California festival will feature live performances from Japanese Breakfast, Saweetie, CL, DPR Live and Beabadoobee

Created by music and media company 88Rising in partnership with Goldenvoice, the festival will expand to two days at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Nov. 6-7. Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival will also feature 88rising flagship artists Joji, NIKI and Rich Brian.

Additional artists include keshi, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI and Elephante, as well as punk rock newcomers The Linda Lindas, who went viral with their single “Racist, Sexist Boy.” Head in the Clouds will also be announcing a few surprise acts leading up to the festival.

For the third year, 88rising welcomes back the iconic 626 Night Market as food curator for the festival.

This marks the very first time the Head in the Clouds festival, which originally debuted in 2018, will be held over a span of two days, growing from 10,000 attendees in 2018 to 22,500 in 2019. Both years took place at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, with star-studded lineups from the Pan-Asian community.

“We’re excited to bring back the world’s greatest Asian music festival to Los Angeles at a new location just outside the historic Rose Bowl. Both the 88rising and Goldenvoice teams have been hard at work to provide fans an immaculate experience from the lineup to the production to the food. We can’t wait to see everyone there,” said 88rising founder Sean Miyashiro in May

This year, a $1 donation per ticket will ensure that young people in Los Angeles have access to creative exploration through Inner-City Arts, an arts education provider for children in Los Angeles’ Skid Row. Purchasers will have the option to donate additional funds at checkout.

Passes for Head in the Clouds start at $249. Check out the full lineup below.
