Saw: Genesis Delayed to 2027 for Early Access Release
SAW: Genesis will not launch in 2026. Following playtesting, the developers have delayed the start of early access to the first quarter of 2027.
Anshar Studios let players test SAW: Genesis ahead of release a few days ago. Following the test, the developers decided that releasing the game in the fourth quarter of 2026 would be unrealistic given the expectations of fans of the franchise, which has spanned more than 20 years.
The creators explained the delay by stating their desire to improve the game and listen to player feedback.
Our ambition from the very beginning of working on the game has been to create a project in the Saw universe that is worthy of its legacy and the fans who have been following the franchise for decades. That is why we take the quality of the game so seriously and want to give it as much time as it takes.
The developers added that over recent months they have received a great deal of positive feedback, as well as specific comments that will help improve individual elements of the game and its performance.

We know that the wait will be longer than anticipated, but we believe that SAW: Genesis will only benefit from this.
