Sabrina Carpenter’s Partnership with HeadCount Drives 30,000 Civic Actions in 12 Hours
Sabrina Carpenter Teams With HeadCount to Boost Voter Engagement on Short n’ Sweet Tour

Sabrina Carpenter is pairing her pop platform with civic action, joining forces with the nonpartisan organization HeadCount to encourage fans to get involved in elections.
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, HeadCount announced it will host voter-engagement activations at 15 dates on Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour. The effort will travel to stops including Pittsburgh, New York City, Nashville and Los Angeles and will feature pre-show video messaging and staffed information booths aimed at helping concertgoers register to vote and sign up for personalized election alerts.
At each activation, volunteers and long-time HeadCount supporters will provide fan-to-fan conversations, registration assistance and resources that explain what appears on voters’ local ballots. Volunteers who sign up with HeadCount may be eligible to receive complimentary tickets to select shows in exchange for supporting registration efforts.
In tandem with the tour activations, Carpenter and HeadCount launched the Good to Vote sweepstakes, which offers a grand-prize package—VIP tickets for two, airfare and hotel—to Carpenter’s Nov. 23 concert in Los Angeles for a winner who takes action through the campaign. The sweepstakes link is available on Carpenter’s Instagram. Enter Good to Vote.
According to HeadCount, the sweepstakes generated more than 30,000 actions within its first 12 hours. HeadCount counts “actions” as steps such as checking voter registration status, signing up for election reminders, or volunteering with the organization.
This collaboration builds on an existing partnership: last year, Carpenter was HeadCount’s top artist partner, credited with helping produce over 35,000 voter registrations and roughly 263,000 individual voter engagements—more than any other artist working with the group.
To mark National Voter Registration Day (Sept. 16), HeadCount also confirmed new partnerships with artists Chappell Roan, John Legend and Tate McRae. The organization will bring registration activations to Roan’s shows in New York, Kansas City and Los Angeles, and will join Legend and McRae on dates of their fall tours.
“National Voter Registration Day is a celebration of our democracy and a reminder that every election matters, including the ones happening in our own backyards,” said Lucille Wenegieme, executive director of HeadCount. “Music and culture have a unique ability to bring people together, and we’re channeling that energy into making sure everyone has the chance to use their voice.”

For fans who want to get involved, HeadCount provides easy tools at concerts and online to check registration status, sign up for election reminders, or volunteer to register voters at shows. These on-the-ground activations aim to make civic participation approachable and immediate for concert audiences.
