Sabrina Carpenter to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut During Venue’s 100th Anniversary Celebrations

Pop artist Sabrina Carpenter will make her inaugural appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, joining the venue’s centennial programming. The Opry confirmed the date in an announcement published September 19, 2025; Laci Kaye Booth and Kameron Marlowe are also scheduled to perform that evening, with additional acts to be announced.

Since its founding in 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has hosted generations of country-music legends — from Hank Williams and Johnny Cash to Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks — and this year the institution has filled its calendar with expanded programming to mark 100 years of shows, surprise guests and milestone performances.

According to the Opry’s official materials, the centennial season will feature larger-scale productions and a mix of established stars and emerging voices designed to broaden the institution’s musical reach and create memorable moments across the year.

Carpenter’s Opry debut arrives amid a string of high-profile career highlights. On September 18, 2025, she announced she will make her first appearance as host of Saturday Night Live on the episode scheduled for October 18, 2025. She is also booked to headline Coachella in 2026 and will appear in a one-off Muppets special slated for Disney+ in 2026.

The Grammy winner is preparing to resume the Short n’ Sweet Tour with a second North American leg beginning in late October 2025. Those dates will be her first major run of shows since the release of her album Man’s Best Friend, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in August 2025. Carpenter has publicly thanked fans for helping make the record a career milestone, calling the response overwhelming and expressing deep gratitude for their support.
