Sabrina Carpenter Headlines Coachella Two Years After Manifesting It: “Woman of My Word”

Sabrina Carpenter turned intention into reality this week: on Tuesday, September 16, Billboard confirmed the pop star as one of three headliners for Coachella 2026 — a milestone she had openly hoped to reach after her previous festival appearance.

Shortly after the announcement, Carpenter posted a clip from her 2024 Coachella performance to Instagram in which she tells the crowd, “See you back here when I headline!” The singer followed the clip with the caption, “Woman of my word.” View the post on Instagram.

Her return to Coachella next year completes a full-circle moment. Carpenter’s breakthrough single “Espresso” arrived just before her desert set, and she debuted the track live at that performance — a turning point that helped accelerate her rise.

That momentum carried her to her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 2024’s Short n’ Sweet, bolstered by Hot 100 chart-topper “Please Please Please.” “Espresso” itself ranked No. 7 on Billboard’s Year-End Hot 100 for 2025.

In August, Carpenter followed with Man’s Best Friend, which also opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Announcing the achievement on Instagram, she wrote that the record becoming her second chart-topping album and highest debut felt “very surreal,” and thanked fans for their support. See her message.

For Coachella 2026, Carpenter is scheduled to close the main stage on both Fridays during the festival weekends (April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026). Justin Bieber will headline the Saturdays, and Karol G will close out the Sundays.
