Prominent showgirls from the music industry have banded together to applaud Taylor Swift’s album announcement. Over the past day, artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and numerous others have voiced their enthusiasm across social media.

Carpenter, who lends her vocals to the album’s title track, couldn’t hide her excitement. On her Instagram Story, the “Espresso” singer quipped, “I know someone who’s losing their mind—and it’s me.”

Meanwhile, Cardi B—often hailed as the Queen of Rap—reposted Swift’s album announcement on Instagram, adding a Sagittarius emoji to nod to their shared star sign. She also shared a Spongebob Squarepants meme exhaling in relief on X, hinting at her preparations for her own forthcoming release, Am I the Drama?, arriving Sept. 19.

These celebrity tributes follow Swift’s own unveiling of The Life of a Showgirl on Aug. 12. The day after, she revealed further insights on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, describing the Max Martin and Shellback-produced record as brimming with “bangers” and offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her Eras Tour journey.

This excitement is just a sample of the global Swiftie fervor building for The Life of a Showgirl, due Oct. 3. This will mark her first studio album since 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department, which reigned atop the Billboard 200 for 17 weeks.

While The Tortured Poets Department leaned into introspective lyricism, Swift teased on New Heights that Showgirl heralds a return to her catchy pop instincts. “It’s more upbeat, more joyful pop,” she explained, “with melodies so infectious they border on irritating—in the best way.”
