Rumor: Diablo IV to Launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in September
Diablo IV will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15 or September 18, according to reliable insider billbil-kun. Blizzard reportedly plans to release a physical edition, but the box will not contain a game cartridge, offering buyers only a download code for the digital version instead.
The expected price of the game will be $69.99, €69.99, or £62.99. At the same time, billbil-kun could not confirm whether the Lord of Hatred expansion will be included in the bundle.
The insider also suggests that the official announcement will take place during the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 ceremony.

Rating agencies previously hinted at a possible release of Diablo IV for Switch 2. First, the Indonesian board assigned an age rating to the Lord of Hatred expansion for the original Nintendo Switch, although many considered it a mistake. Later, the Taiwan rating authority registered Diablo IV for Nintendo Switch 2, which looked significantly more plausible.
