Rüfüs Du Sol Heats up Late Night TV With ‘On My Knees’: Watch

Rüfüs Du Sol is the one of those acts that get about their business, without the hype they might otherwise expect or deserve.

And now, four albums into their career, they’re reached that next stage, that sold-out stadium level.

It’s also fair to say their hit-to-miss ratio is off the chart. Good luck finding a dud in the Rüfüs Du Sol catalog.

The Sydney trio, currently based in the U.S., cut their latest album Surrender in lockdown stints between Joshua Tree and Hollywood.

Surrender dropped last Friday and, with the world opening-up once again, the trio will support the new release with a headline run starting Saturday (Oct. 30) at Fox Theater in Oakland, CA, and including a stop next month at L.A.’s Banc of California Stadium.

Fans got a taste of things to come when the electronic outfit stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night (Oct. 27) for album cut “On My Knees,” which saw Jon George, Tyrone Lindqvist and James Hunt bathed in hot, red light for an otherworldly effect.

The group’s most recent album, 2018’s Solace peaked at No. 6 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and reached No. 2 on the Heatseekers Albums chart and the ARIA Albums Chart. Previous LPs Atlas (from 2013) and Bloom (2016) went to No. 1 in Australia.
