Rockstar and Take-Two Support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 Has Ended January 30 at 19:24

Three months ago, it was announced that “rock stars” would discontinue support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. Today, the Rockstar Games Launcher has been updated. All players are advised to switch to more modern operating systems — Windows 10 or 11. This is now the recommendation the support team will give if asked about a game running on “seven” or “eight.”

This is far from the first or last company to take this step. The Cfx.re team (creators of FiveM and RedM, which joined the R* family) have also announced the cessation of support for older OSes.
