Rocksmith’s newest DLC pack might be its final as dev staff strikes on to new mission

Ubisoft San Francisco has launched its ultimate DLC for Rocksmith, the studio has announced.

The growth staff will not make new downloadable content material for its guitar-centric instructing tool-meets-game following this week’s launch of a group of songs from Swedish prog-metal band Opeth.

Instead, Ubi might be shifting on to a brand new mission. “The Rocksmith Dev Stream will continue (in a new format), along with some more surprises,” reads a press release from the developer. No information on what that may seem like simply but, nevertheless.

I’ve been personally obsessive about this game since its launch in 2011. Rocksmith got here out of an period of rhythm-based releases, harnessing the arcadey gameplay of Guitar Hero and Rock Band as a way of instructing you the right way to really play guitar. Not everybody was into it, however its 2014 remaster fared better, and hey everyone’s a critic .

Rocksmith includes a complete of 1,570 songs, launched over 383 weeks. I extremely suggest its latest Riot Grrl DLC launched in February, which incorporates Sleater Kinney’s Dig Me Out, L7’s Pretend We’re Dead, and Babes in Toyland’s Bruise Violet.
