This previous weekend, “Saturday Night Live” did a sketch about Weezer. After it aired, Rivers Cuomo tweeted, “THEY HAD A WHOLE ASS SKIT ABOUT WEEZER AND ME ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE AND IM ACTUALLY CRYING AAAGGGGHHHHHHH.” Now, in a brand new interview with Simon Vozick-Levinson for Rolling Stone, Cuomo has revealed that he truly hasn’t watched the sketch. “You know my Twitter, right? There’s little on there that’s literally true,” he defined. “A lot of it is Trump-true. Like, I agree with the spirit of what I’m tweeting, but a lot of times it’s not factually correct.”
Rivers Cuomo additionally commented on among the claims from the “SNL” sketch, corresponding to when Matt Damon’s character stated, “‘Pork & Beans’ is better than ‘Buddy Holly.’” Cuomo’s take? “Um…. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion.” Read the complete interview at Rolling Stone.
