Following a two-year hiatus to fulfil South Korea’s mandatory military service, BTS has reconvened, effortlessly melding leisure with work as they prepare for their impending comeback.

In a collection of Instagram snapshots shared by j-hope on August 21, the “Mona Lisa” vocalist is spotted enjoying a beach day alongside RM, V, Jung Kook, Jin, Suga and Jimin view here. One striking image shows the septet posing before a fiery sunset, with Jin flashing a peace sign and Jimin draped in a cosy beach towel.

Other frames document the members browsing local shops, indulging in some retail therapy. For fans hungry for new music, j-hope also posted two silent studio clips: one captures V nodding along into a microphone, and the other features Jung Kook smiling as Jimin lays down vocals.

Simply captioned “BTS!!,” the post arrives nearly two months after their first on-camera reunion following military enlistments. Suga was the final member to complete his service, being discharged in late June shortly after RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook.

During a Weverse livestream on July 1, the septet gathered to unveil their 2026 plans: “We aim to release a new group album next spring,” they announced. “This project will reflect each member’s unique perspectives and rekindle the spirit we held at our debut.”

They also confirmed a world tour in support of the album: “We look forward to visiting ARMYs around the globe and hope you’re as excited as we are.”

In the meantime, fans are relishing Permission to Dance On Stage, BTS’ first live album, released in July. Their most recent studio album, Be, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2020.
