Resident Evil–style horror Bleak Haven launches at the end of October
This October players will be able to try Bleak Haven. Polish developer Artur Lonchkovski, operating as Hitori De Productions, released a new trailer and confirmed the release date — October 27, 2025.
Bleak Haven is fashioned as an homage to classic survival-horror titles. Its tone is bleak and oppressive, with clear nods to Resident Evil. The latest trailer is less showy than previous ones, but it delivers the crucial detail — the definitive launch date.
The project leans on established genre conventions: scarce ammunition, narrow corridors, and a constant sense of threat. As the creator puts it, in this world “faith is warped, and every shot matters.”
Players will explore deserted villages, crumbling ruins, crypts, and subterranean passages. The central menace is a fanatical cult preparing humanity for the “arrival of a god.”
The new trailer includes short gameplay clips and a number of monster scenes.
