Sony Pictures has moved the release of “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” up by one week. The animated superhero feature will now arrive in cinemas on June 18, 2027, instead of June 25.
As a reminder, the film is set to serve as the official conclusion to the trilogy following Miles Morales and his friends across parallel universes. In this third chapter the protagonist is slated to confront a darker version of himself — known as Brodyaga.
The first installment, “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” was a major audience hit and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
