The feature film adaptation of the TV series “Miami Vice” is slated for wide release on August 6, 2027. It’s expected to take its cues from the first season of the 1980s police procedural.
The new project will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, the filmmaker responsible for “F1” and “Top Gun: Maverick”.
Set in Miami, the production has not yet announced its lead cast.
