The comedy series Brother From Another Mother, starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on September 23.
The plot revolves around two iconic actors who are blindsided by the revelation that they might, in fact, be biological brothers.
The series draws inspiration from the real-life dynamic between the long-time friends. In 2023, Harrelson discovered that his father had once engaged in an affair with McConaughey’s mother. Rather than opting for a definitive DNA test to confirm their kinship, the duo chose to turn the intrigue into a scripted project.
Audiences will be able to judge the results for themselves early this fall.
