Originally called Rainbow Six Quarantine, Ubisoft’s next FPS installment has clearly fallen victim to the news. After the COVID pandemic, difficult to sell a quarantine that everyone has gone through. To avoid bringing back bad memories to its customers, the French publisher therefore decided to change the name of its game, explaining that Quarantine was only a provisional draw. Today, we are therefore entitled to a small trailer which finally reveals the final title of the game. The next installment in the series is therefore called Rainbow Six Extraction.
Remember that this is a co-op game in which the operators will have to survive an alien peril. The idea is therefore to leave no one behind, and we can clearly imagine that communication between team members will be a key point of survival. Remember that Rainbow Six Extraction had to be postponed because of the pandemic and teleworking measures. Ubisoft has logically preferred to wait, even if it means offering more development time to its teams, and thus offering a better finished product to players. To find out more about the title, you will have to wait until June 12 at 9 p.m., since it will be at the heart of the Ubi Forward conference.
