Quasi, the duo of Janet Weiss and Sam Coomes, have announced that they’ve signed to Sub Pop for their next album. They haven’t detailed release plans for the project, but they’ve announced a string of TKTKKTT tour dates. See those below.
Weiss and Coomes last issued a Quasi record, Mole City, in 2013. They teased some new material in 2020 with the release of a “quarantine demo” titled “RottenWrock.” The forthcoming Quasi LP is Weiss’ first new project since she announced her departure from Sleater-Kinney in 2019 after the release of The Center Won’t Hold.
