Pussy Riot Activist Treated for Possible Poisoning

Russian information studies say a member of Russian punk protest group Pussy Riot has been hospitalized in grave situation for what could possibly be a doable poisoning.

Ekho Moskvy radio and on-line information portal Meduza reported Wednesday that Pyotr Verzilov has been in emergency care since late Tuesday. They quoted a fellow Pussy Riot member, Veronika Nikulshina, as saying Verzilov’s signs included shedding his eyesight and talent to talk.

Nikulshina stated Verzilov was being handled within the toxicology unit of a Moscow hospital, indicating a suspected poisoning.

Verzilov, Nikulshina and two different activists served 15-day jail sentences for disrupting July’s World Cup ultimate.

They ran onto the sector carrying police uniforms, briefly interrupting the match between France and Croatia. Pussy Riot stated they had been protesting extreme police powers in Russia.
