Unsurprisingly, the PS5 is a hit in Europe, and thanks to our colleagues from VGChartz, we have early estimates of sales figures, and they are excellent as we can see. The PS5 sold 1,001,572 units in the week ending November 21. The next-gen machine ‘sold 723,341 units in Europe in the first week of marketing, which is much better than the PS4 which had only made “only” 706,948 units during its week of launch in 2013. In total, therefore, nearly 2,485,482 machines have already found a taker, which is an impressive figure when one considers the complicated context, with the global pandemic which has limited available stocks. We imagine that with normal production and larger stocks, this figure could have been even higher.
