Two days before its release in Europe, the PS5 had received a first update which only improved system performance. Given the latest technical concerns raised by console users, Sony Interactive has decided to deploy a new patch (02.20.02.26). Available now, the update first of all corrects the bug that erased games installed from a Blu-ray from the SSD. In addition, when they put the PS5 in rest mode, some players had noticed that the DualSense did not charge while it was properly connected to the USB Type-A port located on the front of the console. Today’s update also addresses this issue.
Other inconveniences having been reported by the community, there is no doubt that the Japanese manufacturer is already at work to provide a viable solution. Remember that the PS5 is available in two models: one equipped with a UHD Blu-ray player (499 €), and another geared towards dematerialized (399 €).
