The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has officially unveiled this year’s honorees. Historically, the recipient of the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures serves as a primary bellwether for the Academy Award for Best Picture. This year, that top honor was bestowed upon Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest work, “Battle for Battle.”
Other distinguished winners included “K-Pop: Demon Hunters” for best animated feature production, while “Pitt” took home the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Drama Series. “The Studio” secured the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, and “Coming of Age” was recognized with the David L. Wolper Award for Outstanding Limited Series. Additionally, the award for best television or streaming motion picture was presented to “John Candy: I Like Me.”
