Prime Video Renews Invincible for a Sixth Season, Matching BoJack Horseman’s Milestone

The future of Invincible is settled for years to come.

Prime Video officially renewed the animated series for a sixth season. This brings the show to a length equal to BoJack Horseman on Netflix and secures its place among the longest-running original animated series on streaming platforms.

Early renewal confirms the success of the adaptation based on the comics by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Skybound Entertainment reports that the fourth season reached the top ten most popular series on Prime Video in over 50 countries.

The sixth season might not be the end. Robert Kirkman suggests the team maintains plans to expand the story further.

The original comic book series ran for 15 years and spans 146 issues, providing the creators with enough source material for many more seasons.
