The beforehand postponed PS5 occasion has been rescheduled for later this week, with a revised date of June 11.
The information comes from a ResetEra post, which bears an official image from Sony with the caption, “Join us June 11th at 9pm BST.”
“Ad apparently just went live on Twitch,” writes the poster. “9PM BST which was the same time as when it was meant to be last week.”
Originally set to air on June 4, the PS5 event was postponed indefinitely out of solidarity with the protests in opposition to racial injustice and police brutality within the US. As nicely as Sony, trade giants comparable to Riot Games, Naughty Dog, and Microsoft published explicitly supportive responses of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Sony was not the one firm to postpone their upcoming occasion both. EA Play Live, which was initially scheduled for June 11, was delayed until June 18, whereas CD Projekt Red opted to delay its Cyberpunk 2077 event until June 25.
