P!nk and her 10-year-old daughter Willow enjoyed a little healthy competition in their Family Olympic Games on Monday (Aug. 9).
The mother-daughter duo swam against each other, with Mama P!nk coming out victorious and flashing her gold medal in her mouth while Willow’s pearly whites were reflecting on her silver medallion. She also showed off the traditional Japanese cuisine they cooked up to pay homage to the home base of the Summer Olympics.
“Had some Family Olympics at home today and even made some sushi in honor of Tokyo #yum #mamawongold #betterluckinfouryearswillls,” the pop star captioned the series of photos of her and Willow wearing matching one-pieces in their pool.
When she’s on the sidelines, the “So What” singer has been busy rooting for professional female athletes and defending their uniforms. In July, she offered to pay the fines of the Norwegian women’s beach handball team after the players were fined a total of more than $1,700 for wearing “improper clothing” at the European Beach Handball championships for swapping their bikini bottoms for longer board shorts.
“I’m VERY proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team FOR PROTESTING THE VERY SEXIST RULES ABOUT THEIR ‘uniform,” P!nk wrote on Twitter. “The European handball federation SHOULD BE FINED FOR SEXISM. Good on ya, ladies. I’ll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up.”
