Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted Coming to Switch 2 — Remake Supports New Console Feature

PopCap Games has unveiled a new trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted — a full-fledged remake of the beloved tower-defense classic. The remastered edition is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 and other contemporary platforms, bringing the series’ signature gameplay back with modern refinements.

The trailer highlights upgraded models for both plants and zombies, fresh animations, and reworked music that preserves the original’s spirit. Fan-favorite characters return — from the pea-shooting plants to bucket-helmeted and door-bearing zombies.

A key feature of the Switch 2 version will be support for GameShare, allowing players to share progress and content. Developers say this will introduce a social layer to the experience. PopCap also promises new modes and a stable 60 frames-per-second performance.

The trailer makes it clear: Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted blends nostalgia with modern sensibilities, bringing the franchise back in prime form.
