Pittsburgh Steelers operating again James Conner has paid tribute to Mac Miller, honoring the late rapper by sporting a pair of customized cleats.
Miller — who died on Sept. 7 on the age of 26 — was a Pittsburgh native and a loyal fan of its NFL staff. On Saturday (Sept. 15), Conner — who performed school soccer on the University of Pittsburgh and was drafted by the Steelers within the third spherical of the 2017 NFL Draft — tweeted out a number of images of the cleats, writing “Thank you Mac.”
The phrase seems on the cleats as effectively, together with Miller’s face and several other of his track titles.
The Steelers are slated to tackle the Kansas City Chiefs tomorrow (Sept. 16) at 1 p.m. EST. Check out Conner’s tweet under.
