Pink Reveals Why Her Playlists Make Husband Carey Hart Worry: Exclusive

Pink likes things a little moody! The “Anywhere Away From Here” singer opened up to theSkimm’s “Texting With” digital series about everything from her morning coffee to favorite podcasts in a video shared first with Billboard. In the chat, she revealed that some of her favorite things may have husband of 15 years Carey Hart a little concerned.

The performer kicks off by sharing that in the a.m., she likes to get things started with a “little coffee with a little RumChata” — a cream liqueur that tastes a bit like a mix of rum and horchata — but only on a day off, she notes.

Things took a turn for the slightly more serious when the topic moved on to music. When naming artists that she likes to chill out to, Pink pointed to the works of Bob Marley and City and Colour. “My husband worries about me because I only make sad playlists,” the three-time Grammy winner shared. “I like dark s—.”

But music isn’t the only medium where she likes the gloomy stuff. When revealing the shows she watches, the “What About Us” singer said that in addition to reality show Basketball Wives, she enjoys Outlander, This Is Us, A Million Little Things and Grey’s Anatomy. “Again, sad shows,” Pink pointed out. “I like to cry.”

It wasn’t all about the tears, though. She also dished on her favorite song to sing at karaoke, who’d be in her dream girl band, the artist she’d most like to collaborate with, and more. But Pink couldn’t sign off without first talking up her new Amazon Original documentary All I Know So Far, which arrives May 21.

“It is what actually happens on tour behind the scenes. There’s no makeup, there’s nothing set up, there’s it’s a s— show, but it’s very funny,” she shared. “The reason I did it is because I want my kids to know the true story. When I’m long gone, they can show their kids, like, ‘No, Grandmom was actually pretty cool!'”
