Pearl Jam’s decades-running singles subscription sequence Ten Club Single will finish on January 1, 2019, in keeping with an announcement on the band’s website. The subscription sequence was a department of the band’s Ten Club, and supplied members with unique B-Sides, covers, and different rarities in digital and analog codecs.
Yesterday (December 27), the band posted a press release on their web site saying:
“Beginning January 1, 2019 the Ten Club Single will be discontinued. We hope that you have enjoyed these special collectibles over the past 25+ years… Pearl Jam and all of us at Ten Club appreciate the loyalty and dedication from our members. It has been amazing to watch the fan club evolve over the years into the tight-knit community it is today, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.”
The group additionally assured Ten Club Single subscribers that those that had bought or renewed their membership in 2017 and/or 2018 will nonetheless obtain the Ten Club Single for these years.
The Ten Club grew out of the Mother Love Bone Affair—a fan group created by Pearl Jam in 1990 as a means for the group to construct a symbiotic group with their followers.
