Payday 2 Developers Fix Under the Hammer Heist and Achievements

Players should no longer encounter issues unlocking achievements.

In September, developer Sidetrack Games and publisher Starbreeze Entertainment released the premium Under the Hammer Heist DLC for the cooperative heist shooter Payday 2. As usual, the game also received a set of thematic achievements tied to this heist.

The developers reviewed player feedback and noticed an issue with earning these achievements. For some reason, completing the Under the Hammer heist only registered for the host player, while teammates could not unlock the corresponding achievements. The recent Update 248.2 patch fixed several problems that could prevent players from unlocking these achievements.

Additionally, the developers from Sidetrack Games reported fixing a bug that could block heist progression due to an error when entering a code during stealth gameplay.
