Paul McCartney Announces Massive New Wings Reissues

Paul McCartney has introduced elaborate reissues of his first two albums with Wings, 1971’s Wild Life and 1973’s Red Rose Speedway. Their debut, Wild Life, shall be launched as a four-disc set (three CDs and one DVD), that includes a bevy of bonus tracks and uncommon footage, plus a 128-page guide and a 48-page scrapbook.

The re-creation of Red Rose Speedway spans six discs (three CDs, two DVDs, and one Blu-ray), that includes “a reconstruction of the originally conceived double album version,” plus McCartney’s beforehand unreleased, partly-animated, quasi-concert movie The Bruce McMouse Show. Additionally, it comes with a folio of character sketches for the movie, a 128-page guide, and a 64-page photobook.

Both units shall be compiled within the restricted version field Wings 1971–73, which additionally contains a further reside album. They’re all due out December 7 by way of MPL/Capitol/UMe.
