PATLABOR the Case Files shows third trailer and new Special Edition orders

Good Smile Company has released the third official trailer for Mobile Police Patlabor the Case Files. The 3D action game is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in Summer 2026.

The update also opens a second wave of Special Edition pre-orders and confirms that the game will appear at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles. The new trailer focuses on the game’s main modes and voiced story scenes.

Three game modes

Mobile Police Patlabor the Case Files lets players experience the world of the Mobile Police Patlabor franchise through story missions and robot combat. The trailer highlights Main Mission, Another Side Mission and Simulator Mode.

The game includes more than 20 Labors, including Ingram, Griffon and Type Zero. Simulator Mode adds shooting practice and Labor-versus-Labor battles, while story missions show both Special Vehicles Section 2 and opposing perspectives.

Special Edition returns

The Special Edition includes the MODEROID Griffon the Case Files Color Ver. plastic model kit. First-print copies also include an Original Soundtrack CD with 30 tracks, including the opening theme by Kenji Kawai.

The game will support Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean. International pre-orders are available through Good Smile Company’s own store.
