Path of Exile 2 Developers Impressed by Monk Build Featuring “Grape Fizz”

Occasionally, PoE 2 players devise striking builds that capture the developers’ attention.

The Path of Exile 2 team continues to keep an eye on community builds and spotlight the most interesting creations. Recently, they were impressed by SirToasti’s Servant of Chayula build.

The user presented a Monk build nicknamed the “Grape Fizz” — it leverages the skill Incinerate, which SirToasti converted into vivid violet chaos damage using the keystone Covenant of the Black Flame.

Incinerate functions like a flamethrower: it needs “fuel” that accumulates when mana is spent. SirToasti opted to expend mana on a skill called Living Bomb.

The bomb leaves behind a fiery glob that can be picked up, and when collected it amplifies Incinerate by creating burning ground.

The player runs two copies of Living Bomb; one of them is automated through a spell-creation mechanic while in an elemental state. Since ignite counts as an elemental state, the bomb triggers continuously and the globs keep spawning.

Meanwhile, Covenant of the Black Flame alters fire skills — transforming them so they deal a dramatic violet-hued chaos damage.
